“ First time trying it ended up being so good...I ordered again the next day. Highly recommend...actually it sounds so good right now !! ”
“ I went to Tandoor Indian Cuisine for lunch today and it was delicious! The food was fresh, hot and the staff were so kind. The garlic naan is amazing! I'll definitely be back ”
“ I ordered the butter chicken with naan, samosas, and rice pudding and all the food was delicious! The best thing about it is when you put in the order, THEN they start cooking the dishes, not that microwavable processed food. I had my food mild and it still had a nice kick to it. You can also split the meal with another person and have it again the next day! The restaurant was nice and clean as well! ”
“ Ohhhhh the food was amazing. Seriously this is a must try. Definitely fill up on that water spicy but super good spicy. ”
“ Delicious! Ordered through doordash and everything was fresh and flavorful. We got the garlic naan, samosas, lamb tikka masala, beef roast, and beef biriyani. I was disappointed in my beef roast though, not because of the flavor but i did order a mild so i could share with my daughter but thankfully i tried it first cause it was definitely hot level. To the point that i could only enjoy half before my mouth was in pain. Other than that i did enjoy the other foods and will hopefully be ordering again ”
“ The food is fantastic! It is a small place, crowded( becuase the food is prepared so well) Nice ambiance,, Service, could have been better we ordered to go and they charged us for Samosas but didn't pack them, we should have checked are order before we left,,, ”
“ As a connoisseur of the culinary arts and a devoted aficionado of Indian cuisine, my recent foray into Tandoor Indian Cuisine was nothing short of a gastronomic ballet. The experience was a blend of subtle spice and delightful surprises, akin to uncovering a hidden sonnet in a Shakespearean play. The butter chicken, a staple in the repertoire of Indian cuisine, was executed with a finesse that would make the Mughal emperors nod in approval. It was a harmonious blend of spices and cream, neither overwhelming the other, but rather engaging in a delicate dance on the palate. The chicken korma followed suit, with its creamy texture and rich flavor profile creating a tapestry of taste that was both comforting and sophisticated. It was as if each spoonful told a story of distant lands and exotic spices. Samosas, often the unsung heroes of Indian appetizers, were a revelation. The crust was impeccably crispy, encapsulating a filling that was both hearty and flavorful, setting the stage for the meal to come. The chili garlic naan was a playful twist in the meal, adding a zesty punch that awakened the senses. It was a bold statement in a meal full of subtleties, like a dash of color in a classic painting. Its counterpart, the garlic naan, was the epitome of what this staple side should be - soft, fluffy, and imbued with the perfect amount of garlic, making it an ideal companion to the rich gravies. Finally, the gulab jamun, while on the sweeter side, was a decadent end to the meal. Each bite was like a drop of golden sunshine, sweetly concluding the symphony of flavors. In summary, Tandoor Indian Cuisine is a testament to the rich and varied tapestry of Indian cooking. While the quest for the best Indian restaurant in Tampa continues, this establishment stands out as a gem worthy of repeat visits. It's a delightful culinary journey, one that respects the traditional flavors while presenting them in a manner that's both refined and inviting. ”
“ It was great! It's a family owned restaurant, and a hidden gem on Brandon Blvd. It happens to be in the same strip mall as Marco's Pizza. I was surprised when my husband suggested we try it. We have both recently acquired a taste for Indian curry. It's a strange thing (especially for me) because I never really liked curry until a couple of years ago. I started with Thai, and now I'm loving Indian curry. Who knew? We arrived for lunch on a Friday. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman who I believe is the owner (or a family member). It's a small sit-down restaurant that does a lot of takeout orders. It's clean and inviting. The music is very pleasant and upbeat. Kait was our server, and she was sweet and knowledgeable when asking about the spice levels. We played it safe by ordering the chicken tikka masala. It's really the only curry that we know we like. I asked for medium spice, and he went for the hot spice. Only because he wanted to gauge the difference between "hot" and "Indian hot" (which is the highest spice level). It took a while for the food to come out of the kitchen. I don't mind as long as the food is good, and it most certainly was. I tried the rose lassi while we were waiting. I'm definitely in love with this drink. I'd get it again and again. I'm so glad I read other reviews about it. It really was the perfect yogurt drink to have with spicy curry; to tone down the spice. The garlic naan came out at the same time as the tikka masala. I think it's supposed to be that way as it's usually a side to a meal and not necessarily an appetizer. Either way, it worked out very well. Everything was delicious! The medium was medium, and the hot was hot. It was perfect for both of us. My husband could have used a little more spice, but I thought his preparation was very hot. I'm not sure I could have tolerated that level of spice. It all kind of creeps up on you as you're eating it. The sauce had a nice creamy tomato base. There was a lot of lean white meat chicken that was very tender. It was enough for 2 big meals. We took home the rest of it. As you know, it's even better the next day as the spices blend together. Honestly, I can't wait to go back and try more of their cuisine. Everything was great, and totally worth the wait. The prices are reasonable. They also give a military discount, so make sure you ask. We will be returning very soon. I want to try the balti baingan and coconut rice next time. The salted lassi has also piqued my curiosity. I may even pop in sooner just for a lassi drink. ”
